ProjectGoPro – Master Your GoPro

ProjectGoPro - Master Your GoProClick Image To Visit SiteQuality starts with the fundamentals. You won’t achieve it if you don’t know where to start. Getting to a level that surpasses 99% of amateurs takes skill. And it all starts with knowledge. If you want better videos, you have to learn the trade. ProjectGoPro aims to take novice users from just above ‘how do I turn this thing on?’ to kicking ass in a few short chapters. It’s ambitious, but here’s the idea: Absorb the Basics. Learn how the camera works, learn what it needs, learn what it likes, learn what YOU need to do to make it happen. Those who soak up these core principals get results. Every time. In section 1, you’ll start by exploring the fundamentals: breaking down resolutions, learning the frame rates, it sound’s boring, but it’s not. ProjectGoPro is designed to challenge the reader from start to finish. If you have trouble turning your camera on, I recommend a free trip to YouTube. When you’re ready to roll,  part 2 will take you deep into the essentials of film making. The frameworks. The principals everyone who creates videos worth a sh*t knows about! If you plan on sharing your videos with the world (your friends, your family) you owe them an afternoon deep in these pages. Here’s an overview: Story-lining 101: You’ll learn how to prepare before filming, how to plan your shots out. And why you should do so BEFORE picking up your camera. In addition to all this, there’s an handful of chapters focused solely on GoPro tips like improving Battery life, learning the secrets to beautiful Time-Lapse videos and so on. It’s packed! And there’s more.

You can read everything ever written about videography, capture the most powerful action scene ever, and still somehow manage to f*ck it up in the editing process. Translation: If you don’t understand post production, you’re snuggled up under a ceiling of limits that houses 90′s cellphone pictures and HD Hero footage. Like most endeavors, editing is a skill that’s polished overtime. You won’t close this book with a new editing job, but you’ll sure as sh*t be ahead… Read more…
